What makes us special?

Calendar

The official opening of the Ukrainian kindergarten Barvinok 2 took place on December 2, 2019. However, the history of the kindergarten began in 2015, when enterprising Ukrainian mothers created a small children's group at the St. Basil the Great Seminary, where their children had the opportunity to spend time together, play, and learn the traditions and culture of Ukraine.

Barvinok 2 is now located in one of the three buildings of the Ukrainian Catholic Seminary, which housed a higher school - St. Basil's Preparatory School - from 1933 to 1990. Later, it housed the archives of the Ukrainian library, and in 2018, renovation and arrangement of the premises for our kindergarten began.

And today, thanks to internal renovations and the installation and fencing of a playground, our kindergarten is a beautiful, comfortable, and safe place where children receive quality care, develop, and learn through play in a Ukrainian environment.
